Im still curious to know what the difference is by accent. You mentioned that its a black thing. The white people Ive met from both cities sound the same to me. Maybe Houstonians sound more cajun and Dallasites sound more midwestern, but thats a shot in the dark.
So black people from Dallas are loud and hot tempered and black people from Houston are incoherant?
Though it seems a very unfair comparrison. The Houston video you put on is an interview. Whereas the Dallas videos you put on were more candid. It would be like posting a picture of Highland Park and saying "this is Dallas" and posting a picture of Acres Homes and saying "this is Houston".
When I watch this video (from Dallas), I cant tell much of a difference between the two.

Bro, it's something you probably have not noticed, since I don't think you're Black. I'm telling you right now, I'm at Prairie View A&M University right now where like 40% of the students are from DFw and 45% from Houston (and the rest everywhere else), and you can easily tell the difference from the Blacks from Houston and the Blacks from Dallas. I'm telling you from experience.

Ok, I believe you. But Im since Im not from here, Im still trying to grasp the difference. I can tell you black people from LA sound very very different than they do here. But Im trying to understand the difference bettween Dallas and Houston blacks accents. Is it a difference in attitude or accent?
And Im not black, by background my mother is middle eastern and my father is white.

There is maybe a little difference in accent with some people, but for the most part, it's just attitude.
