I don't like the way it looks from the outside. I realize that it's spectacular on the inside but the outside is really plain jane and looks too much like the old Texas Stadium. The outside looks too much like some kind of design out of the 70s, which wasn't one of the more spectacular periods in our history, architecturally speaking.
For some reason when I look at that picture above, Marvin the Martian comes to mind.
I much prefer a design like the Seahawk stadium or Gillette field in New England.
On top of that, they are charging WAY too much for parking and tickets in that place. The common people will rarely be able to attend games because of the prices. Consequently, you're going to have a lot of rich folks in the stands that will sit on their hands the majority of the game. The game atmosphere will suck. I predict there will be a lot of blackouts after this inaugural season and the newness wears off. Between the prices of tickets (stupid seat licenses that run into the 100s of thousands of dollars for season ticket holders and that doesn't even include the price of the tickets), exorbitant parking fees, and the sheer size of that place, it will be hard to sell out in the future.

... And Houston had the first domed stadium in the world!
I can't believe some people think it needs to be torn down.

Actually, the smart rich people know better and refuse to be shafted. They won't be going either and wasting their money on this doomed, er, domed stadium fiasco. They will stay home, maybe go buy a newer/bigger/better tv and new furniture and entertain at home to watch the game.

They will when their lease is up (if they don't go bankrupt first) and they move to Downtown Dallas, where they can finally fill a ballpark.
