hi folks,
I hope, someone can give me some good ideas or recommendations on how to find a job in Texas. I am looking forward to moving to the Dallas or Houston area this summer. I don't know exactly which one to choose as I like both areas and this will be determined by the job. Right now I am very concerned about finding a job there. During my job search (IT, Materials Managment,Supply Chain) I saw few companies, that are looking only for local residents. Some companies are not paying for relocation, so I guess, I will have to pay for the interviews by myself too. Unfortunately, I can't afford to fly down there too often. Now I am thinking to move down there first and then look for a job. What do you think?
Do you know any local big companies, where I can look at their openings?
Are there any local websites, that you can recommend, that provide better job opportunities?

(I have been searching through indeed.com, careerbuilder.com, monster.com)
