Again, thanks for the neat photos. In some ways, parts of Galveston remind me of the French Quarter in NO (as it was in the 1980s).

I'll take Galveston, as I have no intention of ever going back to NO or La, LOL!!!

That wall of the Yaga's Cafe caved in during Hurricane Rita (the outer bands did bring some strong wind to Galveston's east side). I remember seeing it wide-open when I went down there, on the way to Fuddruckers. Cool that they've got it all fixed up, but it doesn't look the same...

Oh yeah, if anyone is interested to know if there are any good looking women here, they need look no further than this thread....

@Trainwreck: I grew up in Texas City. Did you work at one of the refineries?

Seeing those pics makes me want to pack the bags, head down there for a bit of sight seeing, and then jump on the cruise ship. You even got a picture of the room I was in the last time I sailed out of Galveston, good memories!!
