I am a OTR truck driver who is looking for a small town in far west texas/ transpecos area..........
since my job requires me to be near a major shipping/recieving point.......I figured Oddessa/midland, el paso,del rio is my best bet.......need opinions/ info on following towns:
Van Horn..[schools no good]
Alpine/marfa..[santa fe,nm fake]
Ft Stockton...[???]
Sanderson[nothing there]
Pecos/Monahans[butt ugly and broke]
Ft Davis[??expensive??]
I prefer a small town atmosphere w/ low crime rates, good schools or better,PRIVATE SCHOOLS........altho I don't care to live "in town", I would like a town to have at least min. services...........
any help/ info/opinions are greatly appreciated.............
