America the Beautiful is idealistic, while the SSB is bellicose. Hence I would expect that liberals would be more likely to favour AtB and conservatives the SSB.

I was a kid in the 1960s and dad was in the Army. Before a school play I was in the National Anthem was played and I still see my dad standing at attention, saluting. The sight made a wave of pride in Nation and father rush through me.HER dad at a program at the base I was stationed at.
