Very nice! I was married in Lufkin, this is where my whole family hail froms!
Lufkin BBQ is the best bbq in the state of texas as far as I am concerned. Did you by chance get a chance to eat there? If you haven't and you get a chance one day, try the potatoe salad and rolls. I also love the chopped beef. My grandmother was very picky too and would not eat bbq unless it was Lufkin BBQ.

I enjoyed looking through your photos. I miss the pines. LOL. Almost time for a visit there.

Default lufkin

You pretty much got Lufkin...and the Lufkin BBQ is about the only decent place to get anything to eat from around here...I'd just keep on going unless you look like a local here.

What? No Ray's Drive-In? I'll go out of my way in that part of the state to go through Lufkin and head to Timberland Dr. for Ray's hamburger and onion rings.

Lufkin BBQ is great..love those rolls. I also like Bodacious BBQ and Rays Drive Inn Burgers and Onion Rings are the best to be found anywhere. But, we have a lot of new resturants also. Logans is great and Cheddars. My favorite though is Mexican so I love Casa Ole and El Chico's. Just my 2 cents worth.

Hello to everyone
