Default Pictures of South Padre Island

I lived in the South Padre Island area most of my life. Here are some pictures for those of you who don't know what it's like there. Hope you enjoy!

Wow, those photos are beautiful. They're much prettier than I remember SP to be last time I was there.

Thanks for sharing; they make me pine for a visit to the gulf.

The pics above were taken during 2004.

I have a bad camera, just sharpened the pics up a bit in Photoshop. Lately, I've gone back to the old 35mm disposable cameras and trying to get more of a film look since I was tired of changing memory cards, charging up batteries, etc.

More pics tomorrow.

Where does it look like this?

I love how the landscape is mixed with prickly pear, yucca (and maybe palmettos?) as well as other dune-like vegetation.

Excellent! For the right job opportunity that might be worth me learning Spanish just to live there. I love how colourfull the land looks with the greens, yellows, reds behind a blue sky.

So the beaches/dune areas don't look like this, only inland?
