Wylie sits next to Lake Lavon, good place to fish, but not good for recreational boating. They have their own ISD, with one high school. It's your typical growing suburb experiencing some growing pains. Homes aren't too expensive so its popular for young families.

This Collin County Wylie is up to 2 high schools now. Just opened the 2nd one. Doesn't have all grades yet though. It's called Wylie East.

It's news to me. boy oh boy I knew it was growing, but realize how much. I remember when you could come down 78 and Garland and once you drove past Albertsons it was small town USA. 78 was two lanes, I believe sachse had an IGA supermarket, and there were a handful of small businesses on the main drag.

"Live the life of Rylie in wide awake Wylie"
