I don't know of any jobs in Hawkins unless its in the oil field. My uncle who works for Exxon is there from time to time. You might have better luck looking for work in the larger towns of Mineola or Gladewater which are both ~17 miles away.

Where does hubby work?

I may be moving to a beautiful area just outside Hawkins, will know Friday, most people who live in Hawkins work in either Tyler or Longview or as Metro said smaller cities of Mineola or Gladewater, very few jobs in Hawkins mostly retires there and just "up the road" at Holly Lake Ranch resort a retirement center of about 2,000 - 3,000 permanent 2nd home area. Actually you might try Silverleaf Resort there also.

bjkjack is on a distinguished road
When I was up there in September, the Silverleaf Resort was hiring in Holly Lake Ranch. There is also a Walmart in Mineola and one in Gilmer, and the Nestle plant on 2869.
