Question Small Town

I'm a single parent looking for a small Texas town. One of those, everyone knows everyone, and you don't have to worry so much about your children and their friends.

Try Brenham, La Grange, really any town in Washington, Fayette, or Colorado County. They're small enough, but also within 1-2 hours of Houston.

They're also beautifully picturesque, just do a Google search on "Bluebonnets Washington County".

Lampasas, the kids are very well behaved. No swearing allowed in school. Old fashioned values. Very little job opportunity.

Default Great small town

Mount Enterprise is a small town located between Henderson and Nacogdoches (oldest town in TX and home to SFA state university) and an hour away from Longview/Tyler. We have raised our children here and love it. Pop 530+-

well maybe not in Lampasas itself but it's a short commute to Ft Hood right? I am seriously considering Lampasas or Kempner, if i decide to work at Ft Hood.

Well not sure how small is small but to the west of Ft. Worth you have Weatherford. My wife has family there and was told that its a liquor free town, and everyone goes to church. I was looking on google earth and noticed a walmart there , so guess it might be to big
