Sandoval,
Just because you are being honest, doesn't mean you are correct.
You can't paint a broad brush over West Texas because of a a few "nuts." There are "nuts" all over this country, in every state, because we have the freedom to do that, unfortunately some go to the extremes, on both sides. If we could vote on it, Texans would run Mr. Jeffs out of the state on a rail.
The vast majority of the people of Abilene, and other towns in Texas, are good decent people, who work hard, play hard, follow the law, and go to church on Sundays.

Sandoval, what you are saying is SO bizarre to me. I can't comprehend what you are saying. You'd rather live with killers then religious people - Wow! Could it be your conscience is bothering you and you want to avoid being around religion that confronts your sins? All I know is most normal people would choose to live around decent moral people even if they are religious, they have a conscience to live right, then to live with killers. Oh and you don't consider mormons religious zealots but I don't see Baptists, Catholics or Church of Christ people banging on my door all the time trying to "convert" me to the book of mormon.

Pioneer8, I noticed you where wondering if snakes and gators lived in springs. Snakes can. They can also be found in wells. About gators, not really. Gators like shallow water, enough to hide in but not deep water and they usually like near the banks unless they are swimming from one bank to another on the other side and they like to go up on banks and sun themselves. Bayous are perfect for them. Springs are usually deep and not really gator territory but gators have been known to show us that we can't predict them all the time. They react to movement such as a bird struggling in the water and it is movement that makes them attack so it is best to not be wildly splashing in gator country.

Thanks for the info. And, I appreciate what you had to say in the former post as well. Very intuitive, I think. Have a nice day.

You guys are honestly making Texas look bad by claiming that Abilene is a nice place to live. Abilene is a city that is primarily occupied by religious nuts. You guys should not be trying to direct others towards Abilene, Texas. Abilene, Texas is a religious craphole.

Interesting. I agree with Lifertexan. Additionally, not only are you rude and totally lacking in manners, you're spreading untrue garbage as well. Don't bother to reply. You just went on ignore.

Sandoval, this is my last post to you because honestly I see no reason to even implore your existence but for one last sake; why on earth, if you hate Texas so much, are you even on the Texas post site? This Texas site is about towns and cities in Texas and matters related to Texas life. No one on here has even mentioned religion but your insistence that West Texas is full of religious zealots. Get over it. We all know you hate Texas and you think Arizona is paradise OK. If you love Arizona so much why don't you mosey on down to the Arizona posts and record about how great Arizona is, OK? And thank you Sandoval, NO REALLY, thank you for reminding me why I want to get out of Phoenix. You will be my inspiration to move ASAP!
You are welcome Pioneer8, you also have a great day too!

Well pointed out Lifertexan! I really don't understand people like Sandoval who are prejudice and against other people but like you pointed out, someone like that gravitates to his own or like the saying says "birds of a feather flock together" rings so true.

Lifertexan, where did your post go? You mentioned about how one gravitates to whatever they are and it was a point well taken. So why was it removed? It was there, right? Or did I hit the Tequila bottle?

No,it was there.I guess the admin objected to my quoting him from another forum, specifically the AZ one.So I will just write what I read, and the admin can leave my post alone, thank you.He said
"Crime is really bad in Phoenix. I have adjusted well to the crime. Gangs run rampant in Phoenix. I would much rather live around gangsters and hardened criminals than religious zealots,so Phoenix is a good place for me. I have adjusted well to Phoenix. "
Like I said the first time.People will gravitate to their own level. He also said
"In Arizona criminals and corrupt officials have been able to gain more of a foothold than the religious fanatics and I like that."
More wisdom from him
"If you come to AZ you will eventually become immune to all of the crime and corruption that goes on in Arizona. Arizona is a corrupt and crime ridden state but it is a state with survivable crime and corruption."
He also said this:
"Has anyone heard anymore info on the 2 serial killers running around the Phoenix metropolitan area? This is the first time that I have ever heard of 2 serial killers running around in one city. I wonder if this will get as exciting as when Richard Ramirez was serial killing out in Los Angeles. I can remember tuning into the news every night to see who the night stalker's next victim would be. We then had a real short period of some excitment with the spree killer Andrew Cunanan. I still think Richard Ramirez provided the most excitement.
The media really glamorizes these serial killers. I have to be honest this is kind of exciting as bad as that may sound."
So for fun and excitement, move to AZ and watch the people get killed, raped ,and mugged.
