But you didn't STAY there and probably didn't gripe about it with every breathe you took. I could never live to be so unhappy. I'm just too happy of a person. With the current weather how anyone can even THINK to complain is beyond me. IT IS PERFECT! You don't need to bundle up. You don't need to think your "sweating to death" or going to die from the extreme heat. You don't need to do ANYTHING except enjoy the heck out of it. If you want to wear shorts or short sleeves you can. If you want to wear long pants and/or a long sleeved top you can. It is just THAT type of weather that is so AWESOME!

One certainly appreciates days like we've been having after another very long and hot summer. It is beyond delightful to have another summer behind us. I still like it colder, but this is certainly better than months on end of heat and humidity. If truth be told, I would say there are more "too hot" days in the area than "just right."

I'm headed for a walk right now. It is a bit humid (darn, that just never leaves for long), but it beats the walks I had a month ago and prior ... much, much better. Thank you, Lord. The dogs thank You too.

It does stay too humid here, even on cooler days which ruins it. We have plans to finally move in 18 months. But the weather is not the reason we're moving, but it's something I won't miss.

In a post 6 minutes before this one you stated you JUST moved. Why would you buy a new house if your planning on moving in less than 2 years. Nevermind..............

I don't know what the humidity is where Canine is but where I am IN Dallas County it is 52% right now. I would hardly call it "humid" at all. However, down in Johnson County in Cleburne which is probably a LOT closer to her the humidity is 70%. Which is one reason WHY ONE CAN NOT BLANKET STATEMENT ALL OF TEXAS WEATHER. The humidity in Denver right now is 91% . I'll take my Dallas weather thank you very much

You can expect Beaumont to be humid, being so close to the coast, but you'll have nice, mild winters.

And Texas weather in general? If you don't like it, wait a few minutes and it's bound to change. Then again, if you're happy with it now, well, wait a few minutes, also, and you may get mad.

Actually the walk I had last night with the dogs was pretty nice. The humidity here was 55% and with the wind blowing, it wasn't too bad. The dew point was about 59. Actually though and because the temperature was just 76 degrees, the combo was bearable. Still a little warm for me, but nothing like the inferno during the summer.

If it were 52% humidity in the heat of the summer, I believe we'd all be miserably uncomfortable. Again, Dallas and where I live is not that different unless a fantastic cold front moves through, you'll feel its effects quicker than I. If a warm front approaches from the south, I'll be sweating just a little bit before Dallasites will. Basically, the two areas are so very comparable. Sure, they'll differ a bit on occasion. Dallas is usually warmer in the summer than where I live by a few degrees only. So, it's miserable in both places.

It was so beautiful this evening I really was in awe and it was such a good feeling to see such a pretty afternoon. The clear blue skies, white clouds, green countryside, and cool weather just make me smile. I took a long drive in the country and enjoyed every minute of it and then back home to walk in the cooler weather. Who would have thought this city girl from southern California would be so fond of the rural life? The long range views, rolling topography, full stock tanks, cows grazing ... I so love it. The weather was very nice too. Right now, it's 53 degrees, 74% humidity, and a dew point of 45. Keep the dew point under 50 and I'm a very happy camper. The doors and windows are open and it's so nice and cool.
