What browser do you use? Firefox automatically does it for me. I am not technologically savvy so it's a cool feature for someone like me.

With the planned tower across the street this area is well on its way to becoming a dense pocket of activity , even more so than it already is.

With Texas one of the few bright spots in the U.S. economy, the skyline of swaggering Houston is where the action is as builders and global oil companies, from Phillips 66 to Exxon Mobil Corp, look past previous busts and spend billions on gleaming new buildings.

The U.S. shale oil and gas revolution - which has already changed industries from railroads to pipelines and refineries - is helping drive the voracious appetite for office space needed for the expanding workforce in the world's energy capital.

Demand is so hot that Houston is one of the few places where banks - including Wells Fargo & Co, which is seen as one of the more conservative big banks - will loan money for a new building without demanding developers first have a tenant.

"Houston is booming and bar none the strongest market in the United States of America," said Joseph Sitt, chief executive of Thor Equities, which has two projects underway in Houston.

There are some 56 office buildings totaling at least 11 million square feet under construction in and around Houston, according to real estate services firm CBRE Group Inc. That is equivalent to 190 football fields.

I'm a little bewildered by that video.

Downtown Dallas hasn't changed much in the past 25 years with the exception of the Art's District on the far north end & even those buildings aren't very tall.

Fort Worth TRV project is finally underway.

Fort Worth crews are putting in water, sewer and utility lines in north Fort Worth. Construction equipment and piles of pipe are popping up on North Main. This is the groundwork for three new bridges across a river channel that doesnt currently exist. The 3 new bridges will be located above the new channel.

Fort Worth will have a brand new mile and a half long river channel north of downtown. It is expected to create a town lake and enormous potential for economic growth and development.

Once all the utilities are out of the way in the fall, the bridges will start to be constructed. Once the bridges are completed, crews will start digging the river channel. So expect to see tons of construction in the Fort Worth core in the very near future.

They always Omit the Uptown skyline, and only take pics of the Downtown, but here is a 2013

I've been to Houston. the only thing I liked were the palm trees.
Driving through downtown, I felt like I was on a giant circuit board, coz it was so clean
and square. :/

Also, Dallas is surrounded by little Downtowns of Richardson, Farmers Branch, Plano and Irving.
If you could see it from above, it is pretty impressive.
