Default Want to start over in Texas...

Newbie here... I want to move to Texas with my two little ones. I'm from MN and I'm sick of the snow and want to live someplace different (many reasons why). I have lived in the Midwest all my life and feel there's more out there. Most importantly, I have a crazy ex and seeking to start over. I have always wanted to move to Texas and very attracted to the climate. I work in Human Resources and would be looking to stay in that field. I'm also looking to rent-to-own as well. Would like to live by schools, of course.

Any advice or thoughts of good areas for families in Texas to move to? Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

There's lots of places in Texas that would be great. Does it matter whether you live in a big city, medium sized city, or small city? Is cost of living a major factor? Do you prefer any particular terrain or scenery? If you can narrow your criteria a little that would help us give you more usefull feedback.
