Default Pflugerville...land of the brain dead???

Pflugerville shares a border with Austin, Texas. Why is Pflugerville viewed as brain dead? Is this town worth purchasing a home or is another location equally priced and more alive? Any advice and background is much appreciated.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, even in Austin.

I'm surprised that people say that....especially with the rapid growth they are having. Dot's (Southern Home Cooking/Soul Food) left East Austin and moved there after the fire for crying out loud and it is an AUSTIN institution.

This is the first time I've ever heard that particular canard about Pflugerville. It used to be a lovely little country town on the outskirts of Austin, and now it's got a lot of nice new homes and is growing rapidly. Sounds to me like whoever started that has an agenda or a fairly serious bias.
