I would like your opinion.....I'm a single female w/o kids in my late 30's with a young attitude and will be relocating to TX in January 2010 from San Diego. I LOVE SD, but its way too expensive, and the people are too shallow and negative for me! I'm a country Irish gal originally from Philly, PA that likes to party, dance, and live life. Yes, I AM a Dallas fan, NOT an Eagles Fan! I will be completing my Degree in Nursing over the next 2 years.

I'm considering San Antonio, Austin, and Fort Worth. Most important to me is living in a safe, suburban area, with the convenience of nightclubs to go out to late in the week and on the weekends. I LOVE to dance, and it keeps me happy. I tend to have friends of all ages, so its important that I live in an area that offers a wide age range. Also, have a German Shepherd that loves to visit the doggie parks an meet new friends!

Since you like to party I'd recommend Austin.

You'd be bored in Fort Worth. I would suggest looking in Dallas, particularly Addision a suburb of Dallas that has the 35+ professional crowd.

You'd be able to choose a job at a lot of hospitals from there.

I second the Dallas suggestion for financial reasons ... nursing pay is higher there. I think though that Houston has the best RN pay!
