Hi all,
We're looking to possibly relocate to TX next year, and was wondering what are the places we should consider given the following:
-great schools
-family-friendly
-decent temperatures
-affordable housing

Thanks in advance

Perhaps you should be more specific. Do you want urban or rural, what kind of job market, hobbies, etc?

If you're really stuck on ''decent'' temperatures, the answer is just about no place in the state for half the year.

Temperatures are not friendly most of the year throughout the state, and people are friendly in most places. School quality is dependant on the district you move to. I really like Austin because it's very green, has a laid back atmosphere, and this week it was rated #1 place to live in Texas for people seeking a tech/IT job. Dallas, Houston and San Antonio all have their own contribution, and style, and each of these cities were on the top 10 list of best places to live in TX. The rural areas of Texas are also great, but I've only lived in the metro areas.

Best wishes!
