I was driving around in lewisville today hunting for new house. When I saw the neighborhood around the new home, I almost turned around but decided to check it out since I was around anyway.

I in fact found they have the floor plan I have been looking for ( two masters) and it seems they are the only one doing it in the whole DFW ( if anybody knows other builder , let me know). Also I found their price is very desirable. (80 dollar per sq for new home?) even though they don't have a gate and located next to getto looking apartment and near business 121.

I kind of think I would need that kind of floor plan for next ten years (my parenets are very old) and can move to the better neighboordhood for my kids(mine is only 2). Since it's cheap, i kind of think I will be able to sell it cheap not losing a dime. It will be close to my wife's workplace.

However, I still am not sure if that would be good choice to buy the house. It's patio type home without backyard, but with high, 100 dollars HOA a month. ( I don't understand why it's that high. it seems they only do glass cutting. They don't seem to have anything to take care but swimming pool)

Anybody want to share a thought? Anybody knows the neighborhood?...I couldn't trust the saleperson's statement. It's safe...bla..bla... I don't believe being poor does not make ppl bad, but poor kids do a lots of things that are not very desirable.

D R Horton did build a 2-master home - don't know if they still do or not. The floor plan I was familiar with was a 2-story. I think 2-master is a great idea whether it's for elderly parents or for teenagers (or for a couple who are a little tired of each other!)....don't know why more builders don't offer them.
