He brought his factory from China to the US to create jobs here?
That's all I need to know

Actually, I like to wait for the other side to pull their dirty laundry out (gotta weed out the stupid accusations)

I don't think this guy has a very good shot, BUT he does have a shot.

He has already committed a lot of money and time into this campaign. He is opening campaign offices across the state and has started a media campaign statewide. He even has the internet abuzz about him.

Do you think the attempted attack by Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab will affect Shami? I hate to think that people base decisions on name association, but it wouldn't be the first time.

I am voting for Hutchinson in the primary and, probably, for the Democrat in the election. I am sick of Perry and not that crazy about Hutchinson.

However, I don't think I will vote for Shami if he gets the Democratic nod. I too have seen his commercials in Abilene.

I've seen his press conferences, he doesn't seem too well prepared at all.

At present, I don't know enough about him to give him my vote. It could be that he would make a great governor, but this state is often xenophobic and is also Republican. He is going to have to get a lot more information about himself out there to secure enough votes to go anywhere in this election.

I agree. His website is very amateur and provides very little information. He isn't ready to run this state if he can't even promote his campaign online.

I haven't seen any of his ads lately on TV. Maybe he decided he wasn't going to spend any more money on them. However, I don't know of any politician who is very specific about how he/she is going to proceed.
