By my moniker you might guess that I'm not quite a Texan ... but my wife sure is, and even after spending our first 12 years of marriage with me in Montana, she is as Texan now as she ever was ..

This is my first year living full time in Texas, and I thought that this video summed up my experiences here so far, quite nicely .. Enjoy

Here in Texas, we have Dairy Queen commercials with the tagline "That's what I like about Texas" at the end. That's what I expected this thread to be about.

Thank you for sharing! We moved here (Dallas) going on two years in May from Los Angeles and we LOVE it!!!! I'll never move back to Los Angeles, although I do miss the food We are headed down to San Antonio tonight for the weekend and we have never been there, we are super excited!!!

I'm a native Texan, born in the 40's. I've kicked across all the dance halls pictured, and many more long gone. I've seen all the sights in the video - they are all worth a visit although some are pretty remote.

Texas has many faces and all of them friendly.
Thanks for posting - Montana is one of the most beautiful states I've ever been to. The sky is truly "bigger" there.
