YUCK!!! I'm tired of the wet stuff. I wish it was more of a dry snow. We had drizzle, then rain, the some snow mixed in the rain and now snow. YUCK!!!! If I wanted snow I'd move to the mountains.

And I was trying to be on an island this week and now I'm stuck here in this icky stuff.

Y'all act like this is something unusual. It's not, at least not here in North Texas.

The last thing I want to drive on tonight is ice. I'm working a midnight shift for now, so I'm hoping the temp stays above freezing. I did see a few snowflakes falling just before I went to bed at 3 this afternoon. When waking up this past hour, there didn't appear to be much accumulation.

Accumulating snow twice in one week is very unusual, even in the northern half of Texas.

Hang on now, pal. North Texas is different every year. Some winters, we might have just one snow event, and other years, three or four. Usually, it's about two. And Wednesday's high is expected to be 52 at D/FW. It's not like the Panhandle where Amarillo seemingly gets blasted every other week.
