I admire your tenacity. You have been listing it for quite a while, no?

Texas needs more people like you! Hopefully it sells soon. Take care!

Thanks!! Hopefully 2010 will be the year I finally move to Austin!!

I originally listed my house in July 2008. I took it off the market in Jan 2009 when I had to have surgery. I herniated 2 discs in my neck (C4-C6) and have to have a discectomy and fusion. I relisted again in April 2009, took it off the market in Oct 2009. Not one single offer. It IS priced right...NOTHING is selling in my neighborhood. The last house that sold was on the market over a year. 2 houses down the street have been on the market as long as mine--NOTHING! I am thinking of relisting in the Spring again. I think I am going to do FSBO, that way I can lower the price drastically.

I was not going to be here for another C-O-L-D winter, but here I am.

TexasGirl,

I'll hoist a cold Lone Star to the East tomorrow as I play a game of chicken s__t Bingo at Ginny's. Your tenaciousness towards coming to God's Country is heart warming. I hope you sell soon and locate here in the Spring so you can enjoy South Texas in the summer.

I love TX in the HOT summer!! You will NEVER hear me complain about the heat! Today it is currently 16 degrees, going down to 12 degrees with snow accumulation of 4-8 inches. It is so cold out---how cold you ask? So cold, my puppy even cried when I took him outside to go potty.

I look forward to hoisting a cold Lone star at Ginny's with you when I finally move! Give Dale a big hug for me if he is playing tomorrow!

Oh, lordy....Austin in July...or most of the rest of Texas, LOL!! I love my home state dearly--and always will, but I hate summer!

Half the extended family lives in or is in the process of moving to the Austin area; I was shocked! One cousin and his wife are building a Mediterranean Spanish-stlye out in the Lakeway area, two more of them already live there, and another bought a house somewhere else in the Austin area and has leased it out for a year until they retire.

With Sis already there, I can just fly to Austin and catch nearly everybody in one fell swoop.

Only in the winter, LOL!!

Hang in there, TG, and we'll all keep our fingers crossed for you, OK?!

If it makes you ladies feel better, they weather prognosticators (they can't forecast crap) are saying its supposed to be in the low 20s on Thursday night. It may sleet, which is not pretty for Texans in ice (if it happens).

I can't wait for hot and humid weather. I like the heat and it humbles everyone. You ladies have a great New Year.

Old hazmat dude off to bed.

I miss you Texas!

I spend my time between Colorado and Connecticut, and love them both, but do miss Dallas.
