Default Killeen/Copperas Cove/Temple/Fort Hood pet friendly places?

Hey there I'm a soldier's wife about to make my first military move to the Fort Hood area, hoping to end up in one of the above mentioned towns. I have a larger dog, shes about 35lbs right now but going to get bigger. I can't seem to find a place that is all sorts of pet friendly, just small dogs and cats. Anyone know of any good realtors/landlords/aparment complexes/townhomes/etc? I'm not picky, just want a place where I can keep my puppy. Can't give her up. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I've known the entire Centroplex (Kileen/Fort Hood, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Temple, Nolanville) to be very pet friendly. Big dogs all over the place. The area is rather spacious, so I can't imagine why owning any type of dog would be a problem. I recommend Copperas Cove and Harker Heights.

Is the Centroplex on base? I can't say I know what that is. But if its on base we can't get housing, too long a wait. I'm not sure why it is a problem just most rentals in the area have those specific parameters. The ones I've found, at least.

The Centroplex is the general area where all of those towns are located (including on base at Fort Hood).

well, i cant understand why you are having problems. when i was looking for housing off post, there were plenty of dog friendly places...but then again, i have always lived out in the country, so the places i looked at were mostly out in the country..though i still found places in the cove!
if worse comes to worse, just start lookin a bit further out, like Kempner!

Basically any town within the vicinity would be a good choice. It depends on what type of area you're looking to live in. Then again, it doesn't matter where you live because everything is so close to each other (unless you're looking for a really nice area which would be Harker Heights or parts of Cove).
