i assume youre talking about the florence area, and that isn't what i'd call redneck. there's too much of a military presence there for it to be truly redneck

i'd actually say that a "laid-back hill country" vibe better describes the area. similar to places like blanco, tx or marble falls

Marble Falls isn't laid back anymore in most places. Blue Bonnert Cafe yes, Horseshoe Bay no.

Blanco is still old Texas chill. Just the price of admission has gotten way higher.

some places, yeah. most places? no. it depends where you at

imho the overall feel of the town is very laid back. especially when compared to the larger cities

Yeah I guess the Florence and Briggs area. Maybe farther up past Briggs but I haven't been up that way.
