Are there any places to ride horses, and show them, tack shops & feed stores near Gatesville, tx ?? (Waco: living in)

We are moving to gatesville, and I have some horses, Im originally from Ga and have been living in copperas cove for a while, I finally get to bring my horses to texas!(been in army so havnt been able to bring them yet) I was wondering if there are any places to go trail riding or if there are any horse shows near gatesville? I used to go to small "fun Shows' in GA and im just looking to see what kind of horse stuff is in the area? including any good tack shops and feed stores as well. Thanks!

I know the Waco area because my daughter has been taking riding lessons for years.

C-Bar stables is about 25 miles away from Gatesville in Valley Mills. It's a favorite place for trail riding and where the Baylor Equestrian team rides

There is also Painted Ridge Farm in Lorena which is much smaller

Take a look at Wildfire Ranch to see if they have what you're looking for. The place is in Salado, on I-35, south of Temple/Belton. From Gatesville, head towards Temple on Hwy 36, take the loop south wise to I-35 and go south about 12 miles. It's on the other side of the highway.

Forgot to mention that there are some really big horse shows in Waco at the Heart of Texas Fairgrounds. They have events all year long. I see 3 horse shows on the upcoming schedule
