Some members in the thread and behind the scenes have expressed concern about the lower-case "t" word in the title. There has been a recent discussion in About the Forum about the appropriateness of this term. Here is what one of the Senior Moderators who makes decisions about policy at City-Data said.

Therefore, except for really obvious vulgarities, we will not be censoring anything authoritatively. If you find a post that offends you, report it, please. There is a chance the moderator will agree with you, although a lot will depend on the context. If they don't, well, then it can't be helped.
The mod team has reviewed those concerns and based on the lack of consensus in that thread, has determined that the term is in use in other forums here and is NOT patently offensive. Now that this has been decided, there should be no further discussion about the appropriateness of the term in this thread.

I wonder where Medina's 911 comments stand with the Texas Teabaggers?

Rick is looking to hit the 'homerun' ball on graft this time, as he knows well how to do it now. Kay B. just wants to 'retire' and still have unlimited income potential and still be in front of a camera. I think their ads let us all know that both are lousy choices. Who knows about Medina? Crazy, smart, stupid,? I really don't care... I am willing to take a chance on her, but don't really expect much from her, other than she does not have the inside track on graft and corruption...yet.... I am an independant consevative, who wants someone to tell us the truth, give us options then act upon our wishes...

I am also an independant conservative and would like to see Medina win. Even after the Beck radio interview, I still think that she can do it. So far, she's my pick until I found out otherwise. Texas is nowhere near as bad as NYS with property taxes , so it's pretty good here.

Palin endorsing Rick Perry is fitting. Both are insincere politicians that cannot be trusted at all.

I agree and wonder if Palin will tell Perry to make speech notes on his hands too I have no words to describe just how ridiculous Palin is ...

Some posts above were deleted. This is the Texas forum. The place to discuss PRESIDENTIAL politics is in the Politics and Other Controversies forum. Not here.
