Heh, PR for Fannie Mae. Now that should look good on a resume

This is the corporation that lied and lobbied its way through the past several years. And is now home of the deadbeats.

i'd say that anyone who worked for Fannie Mae (or most of them in the FIRE* segment) really has a pea-sized brain.

The study is worthless.

My wife and I are from New York and getting ready to retire. We have been looking at Florida and Texas because of the no income tax rate. NY is one, if not the most, taxes states in the union. We have to pay Federal, State, and if you live in NYC or Yonkers income taxes on top of sales taxes. If you smoke cigarettes (my wife does, I don't) then you may have to take out the equivalent of a student loan to pay for a carton of smokes due to the tax NY places on them.
I like the idea of not having to pay State income tax on interest I earn on my investments or pensions since I was already taxed on the principal when I earned the money to begin with. As for the smokes if we move to the RGV it will be cheaper to walk across the border and by them in Mexico.
