Texas Places Ranked by Per Capita Income
Take that Dallas and your 3 zillion cities.
Interesting list - I'm guessing you are using the term, "cities" figuratively.

Piney Point Village city, Texas $133,558 -Houston Population 3380
Barton Creek CDP, Texas $110,504 - Austin Population 1589
Westover Hills town, Texas $98,573- DFW Population 658
Highland Park town, Texas $97,008- DFW Population 8842
Hunters Creek Village city, Texas $88,821-Houston Population 4374
Bunker Hill Village city, Texas $86,434-Houston Population 3654
Hill Country Village city, Texas $77,374 - Hill Country Population 1028
Mustang town, Texas $75,692- Middle of nowhere Population 47
West University Place city, Texas $69,674- Houston Population 14211
Hilshire Village city, Texas $66,620- Houston Population 720

Factoid: The combined population of the little towns (if that) listed above is less than the attendance at last night's Trinity vs Allen HS football game.

Those would be country hick villages in my book.

Those cities are nothing compared to Richardson, Addison, Frisco, Plano, Lewisville, Denton, Arlington, Mesquite, or Cedar Hill. And of course Fort Worth is gigantic.

all the cities listed for Houston are surrounded by the city of Houston.

and for places over 50K in population The Woodlands is listed in the top 25 in the US, Plano or any of the other cities you listed are not in the top 25.

Keep in mind Houston's city limits are large, so it's suburbs aren't as large. Also, there are a lot of unincorporated areas that, not technically cities, are just as large as the areas you named. Even unincorporated NW Harris County has more people than Fort Worth. Almost one million up there. And since we are talking about median incomes, I don't think you want to post those large cities.

yeah Houston has 2.4M people while Harris County has 4M. There are lots of people in the county that lives outside the city limits.

yeah, and like I said the large cities fall lower on the list. the only area of Texas with a pop of 50K or more on the top 25 per capita income is the Woodlands

My personal favorite neighborhood in Houston is West U. In the last several months, I spend about 6-8 days per month working in Houston and I always like to stay around there.

If I were ever to move down there, that would be the first place I would look.

yeah, I love West U and Rice Village. The Memorial Villages are exclusive but I enjoy the West U/Rice area more. Also the people are sooooo friendly over there

Default Wow this is a HUGE! hit to Dallas in this thread.

This new info is very damaging to Dallas
. I already know they pride themselves in having the Northern Dallas Suburbs (without that this would be no contest) but now to find out that they are not even the most elite cities in Texas???? This is HUGE!

I missed the "places" part of your list - my bad. I am not trying to misconstrue the meaning of your post, but I thought your list of "places" included the "wonderful cities" you mentioned - perhaps you can see how your post was confusing.
