Default Harper area

Greetings one and all,

can someone tell me about highway 290 thru the Harper area going west from Fredericksburg, We are looking at some property between the two towns closer to Harper. Want to know if there is a lot of traffic on this road all day or just sometimes. I read on this forum a bit ago about a new expressway and was woundering also if this area would be impacted?

Just have to say Hi to everyone I don't post alot but do follow along on a day by day time frame. My wife and I will be retireing in 3 years and want to find a place this year

If you don't want to take 290 you can also take 2093 aka Tivydale Rd, which will take you between Fredeicksburg and Harper. Very few cars on that road and a very pretty drive as well. If you prefer 290 though, there will be more traffic, but still nothing to worry about.

Yes, the road is heavily traveled....and the real problem on parts of 290 is having to watch out for people that are stopped for turning left. The road is in very good condition, but.....
