Does anyone know which city has the most bars? I am guessing it would be Houston, but who knows.

I guess going to bars can count as a "Party" in some ways.
My post was directed in response to the word, Concentration, which was used to describe San Antonio's bars.

I was pointing out that the number of bars in downtown Austin was more than every other zip in the country. With more than 2X the number of bars than the next closest zip in Texas, it has a very high concentration for a small area.

Houston looks like it has the largest number of bars and clubs in all of Texas.

Austin, without question. But anyone else take a look at this poster's other posts? 7 total posts, always the original poster, and never responded to any of them.

Such brilliant titles as "Do you think it rains too much in Houston?"

hmmm

You're from Canada. Anywhere you move to in Texas will be a culture shock, and not necessarily one you might like. My advice is to take an extended visit and research the hell out of this place before such a move.

Austin is great without a doubt, but its party scene offers little diversity. I mean, sure, there's bar after bar after bar downtown, but how many of those bars are completely indistinguishable from each other? A lot.
