Hello, folks,

I am a student in Oklahoma (more specifically, OU), but I am looking to transfer to West Texas A&M in the near future. As a college student, I have some questions, which I'd appreciate any of you taking a shot at answering.

1. I am looking at living off-campus, so what would be a nice, cheap apartment to live in? By the way, I'd be living in Canyon.

2. Are the WTAMU women there kind and real? Or are they snobby and pretentious?

3. What are college students at WTAMU like? If you're not a WTAMU student answering this, what is your general opinion of their attitude? Do they look out for other students when these other students are having problems?

4. What is crime like around Canyon? I was the victim of a stalking incident, and I've been bullied so many times (even at OU!), so is it a safer city than Norman, OK (for example)?

5. What's the church scene like? Are most of the people around Canyon backstabbers? If they are, are they any better than Oklahoma, if at all?
I haven't been able to find a good church home for a while because of the judgmental nature of Okies. And I don't even provoke them at all!

6. As someone who has a disability, are people in Canyon and in the Panhandle more accepting of such than Okies? I've found that Okie people are not very kind at all, even grown adults.

Again, I appreciate your input. Thank you.
