No, you can buy a phone anywhere. I find it easier to get a phone from my coverage company. It avoids any possible hassles. Plus, the phones are cheap, sometimes free. I use Alltel for coverage, but the phone is a Samsung, purchased at the Alltel store.
How are your move plans going? Oh, I've been meaning to ask, why are you leaving Bahrain to come here? I've seen shows that make Bahrain look like paradise.
