I thought Houston was already a sanctuary city?

Gov. Haley Barbour (R-MS)
Gov. Donald Carcieri (R-RI)
Gov. Jim Gibbons (R-NV)
Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA)
Gov. David Paterson (D-NY)
Gov. Sonny Perdue (R-GA)
Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX)
Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM)
Gov. Mike Rounds (R-SD)
Gov. Mark Sanford (R-SC)
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA)

Makes sense with the toll road fiasco, the educational ranking, etc.

Your thoughts on the matter.
Hmm.......lots of R's, not so many D's. I think a more important list would include our worst little "g" governor........the one in Washington.

My position as well....I'm not a fan of neither.

Well Bill White helped revitalize downtown with Discovery Green, and put Metrorail expansion into place, so I guess thats something.

In all honesty the business establishment in Texas wether Republican or Democratic are for illegal immigration anyways as a source of cheap labor.

I don't think so. Houston is second to last for "religious cities" in the state (percentage of people who go to church). Austin was first. I saw this list last year, on City-Data.

And another thing about White and Perry. I like how Perry calls the oil spill an "act of God", while White puts out a ten page analysis on how to fix and prevent the problem in the future. Basically, get the hell out of office Perry. You're ruining this state with your idiotic ways of doing things.
