Default Lake Bridgeport

Anyone here familiar with Lake Bridgeport and its surroundings--
what is level of lake at now--what about buying land/resort property there---what kind of lake is it--I have read it is supposed to be good for fishing--are there lots of skiers and jet skis out there as well
what about lake police--are there enough to monitor and keep down the raucus types that you see on so many lakes that make it a dangerous environment?

What about water quality of the lake?
Does anyone know if Lake Bridgeport is water source for local cities?
Appreciate the info--will post on FTW board as well...

Default Lake Bridgeport

Hi!

You can find a lot of information about the Bridgeport Lake at Wise County Messenger Online (Wise County Messenger) which is a weekly local newspaper. They also have a monthy edition for the Lake only (they cover its history, year of construction, pictures from that time (30's), etc. I live two blocks away of the Lake. Actually at Southeast.
I hope this helps!
