My boyfriend and I want to move to TX. We love the south, we love the food the culture, the manners people have and the laid back style of living. I grew up on a farm and I would love to move to a small country community but at least within 30 minutes to a metro style area so we can buy food, work, etc.

I show Chihuahuas in AKC Conformation and soon agility. My dogs are my life and I need to make sure I move to an animal friendly area. Would love a farm town!!!!

I am currently a Real Estate Paralegal and would be up for a career change (I'm 28 and I've had this same job since I was 16-so I am dedicated to my work) and I am also an Avon Lady so I'm hoping to eventually make that my full time career so I can spend more time at dog shows.

I heard Dallas and Houston have strict dog laws. Has to be an area that is very pet friendly but the coast is not something I need to have. Inland is fine as well!

We plan to move in the next 1-2 years but if we can sooner we will! We want to at least know where to start.

Any suggestions on areas to narrow down to would be greatly appreciated!
