LOL. I was really talking about the big cities in Texas when I made that statement. It was also more poetic to say it was the best at street level while being the worst skyline wise. LOL. I always tend to forget about El Paso since its in a little corner all by itself. That's my bad! And now that I think about it, I do like it better than Ft. Worth's. So, to retract my statement, it's the 3rd worse skyline of the 6 largest cities in Texas.

San Antonio has the absolute most pathetic skyline for it's size in the United States. It beats even Phoenix and San Jose.

Very nice downtown but skyline is the worst anywhere in the U.S. then Phoenix and then San Jose, albeit San Jose is making downtown very dense to make up for lack of height.

SA has added to it's skyline since the original post in 2010.

My comment is reflective of May 2019, not 2010. Was there in May.

People who put “Amazing” are obviously from San Antonio and are in love with SA. I mean, look at the skyline! It’s just bad and the city has over 2.5 million people.

I mean, at least they got the river walk and the hill country is just around the corner.

It looks amazing...for a city of about 300,000.

Washington D.C. Doesn't have a skyline and people never bring that to light. San Antonio's skyline is spread but it does have some iconic skyscrapers and structures with thick infil. Not to mention awesome walkbility and amazing street level activity. Then there is all the commerce & activity along the River one level below. The Phoenix skyline is pretty decent but not superior to San Antonio's. As far as San Jose's that skyline doesn't have anything in San Antonio's league as far as height, but, it does have a somewhat decent skyline.
