Smile Area around Bowling Green?

Where is the best place to live while going to Bowling Green State University. I'll be 27, married, going to school still. I want some place safe, entertainment nearby, restaurants nearby, etc. What do you think?

I think your best bet would be Perrysburg, they have just built this great shopping center area and since you'll be right at 475/75 you'll be about 10-15 mins away from campus. Also you'll be still only about 10-15 mins from downtown Toledo which as some nice bars and resturants ( esp. near the docks). Also check out Maumee, Monclova, and if you want a little more country whitehouse. Since you're 27 and married I wouldnt reccomend living in BG itself since it is really an undergrad town. Hope this Helps!

You know, those areas that davialo mentioned are just what I was thinking. However, Bowling Green itself is not a bad place either. Bowling Green has 2 sides to it the College Side which I like to call the zoo and the west side (other side of main) which is the family/nice side. It really is like going from day to night and I think that you would enjoy living in the town, there's plenty to do and toledo is just 30 mins away, perrysburgh is 15 min and findlay is about 20. Good luck finding a place.

davia and jherrer both raise some good points, and I agree with both. If the choice were mine, it would be Perrysburg. There is so much to do, and the area is developing so rapidly! The new shopping/dining center that went up right off of 475 is a fun place to waste time and money!

Perrysburg is only a short drive from BG, and like it was mentioned, only 5-15 miles from other parts of Toledo that have much to offer.
