Default NW Ohio --- Horse people?

Possibility of a job relocation near Toledo, looking to connect with anyone in the area that may know of rental property that has horse facilities and/or acreage, or barn/pasture situation up for lease near a town that has rentals. Ideally would like to have a rental home with room for horses, must be no more than $850/mth for the total package. Exact location is flexible, can be as far south as Findlay & surrounding area, east as Fremont, and west as Defiance. We do not want to purchase because the length of time in the area will be relatively short.

Any help is appreciated!

Try the Swanton area, which is just west of Sylvania and also the Monclova/Whitehouse/Neapolis areas. These areas are mostly rural, with many, many farms...you might find something for rent there at a reasonable price. You would only be 20-30 minutes from Toledo in any of these areas.

Yes, Swanton is a great choice. Look at the area just south of Swanton, on Fulton County Road D, E and F, near County Road 2. (East/west roads are lettered, North/south roads are numbered) There are many horse farms in that area just a couple miles south of Swanton. I know a few places that would help you with stable rental. There are horse clubs in that area that could help you a lot. Good hunting and good riding.
