Looking for Christian or homeschooling families around Toledo? (Kent, Monroe: moving to, food)

I just posted that we are considering a move to Toledo. I am not familiar with the area, so my attempt at locating where we may be moving too may not be too helpful - it'll be Knower st. off of Broadway near South Avenue.

I barely know anyone, and have not met any homeschooling families yet. I'd love to start communicating with families that might be local, and start to learn about local resources, activities and other things that would be of interest to a homeschooling family. I am also seeking other Christian, bible-believing families for friendship also, and start to get to know people in this area. We're from Michigan, coming fom Monroe County.

Just curious, what happened with the move to Kentucky?

And, as already mentioned, stay away from the South/Broadway area. If you enjoy Mexican food you'll find some good markets on Broadway though.

Also, could you be more specific regarding "Christian" and "Bible-believing?" Sadly the terms have lost their meanings.
