Toledo is kind of dumpy. I personally wouldn't live there again. I had to move out because the schools were horrible. On the other hand, I did move to Sylvania and don't think I could have found a better place to live. I am very well traveled and keep coming back to the area for some reason. My only gripe is the weather. I wouldn't be caught dead living in Las Vegas. My standards are a little higher than finding a job as a card dealer. It's also over populated and to much crime.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with visiting Vegas occasionally...but I don't aspire for Toledo to be like it.

Toledo may be decaying in some ways but in others it's flourishing. Toledos a blank canvas ready to be painted into a masterpiece.

the only part about the blank canvas is theres so many 'historical buildings' just sitting vacant that they wont do anything with, so no new businesses and the rent is high so businesses move out. and the city is cheap to begin with, it they put any money into downtown it'd look like columbus

Las Vegas has as many jobs as Detroit, Flint, and the rest of Michigan. Vegas is hurting. You can tell us your little lies, but when you do some quick research on Vegas' past economic history, it ain't too great!

No, you're wrong, but keep believing.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Come on people, get out and travel, do research, look up the facts. It makes your posts look a bit more credible.

Yes, I have no idea who I am talking to, and neither do you. And yes, numerous times. I work in PR for urban planning and development as well as for medical companies. I travel the country for work.

Like I said, facts are a great way to put other peoples' posts down. Vegas is hurting, and it doesn't take much research to see how bad it actually is there.

And for the record, I would never, ever, ever live in that city.... I mean never.

We have the new Hollywood Casino coming, and Detroits an hour away.

Las Vegas is pointless to this ToledOAN.
