Default Children's Wonderland in Maumee?

When I was growing up in the 60's in Waterville, we used to go to a large animated Christmas attraction at the old Toledo Mudhen's Stadium (inside), called Children's Wonderland or something like that. You walked along pathways to see all kinds of animated Christmas, winter, and Mother Goose scenes, then we would eat lunch and have hot chocolate there before going home. It was always so much fun and a real treat during the holidays.

Is this still going on? If not, does anyone else still remember it? As a small child, it just seemed so magical and created a special childhood memory.

tk29 is on a distinguished road
Yes it is still going on however this could be the last year, at least in the current location. Lucas County plans to close the Rec Center by June because they can not afford to make repairs to both of the rec hall buildings.

I'm surprised to hear that it's still been going on after all these years....but I'm glad to hear that other children have been able to enjoy it. Sad to hear that it might have to close - this poor economy is going to affect every facet of our society, I'm afraid.
Thanks for responding.
