from this terrible economy than most cities, both in Ohio and across the country? I live in a suburb of Toledo, and have lived in this area my entire life. From what I can see, the economy is hitting most Americans right now, but I know that Toledo is very much a blue collar, manufacturing-based town, and so many of the factories have left for good, leaving no well-paying blue collar jobs to take their place. I don't think it's realistic to think that new factories are going to come to town anytime soon, not when they can (and have) relocated in Mexico, China, etc. and can pay those low wages with no labor unions to interfere. So, Toledo is left with thousands of unemployed blue collar workers and no job prospects for the vast majority of them. What do you think?
