Outdoor wedding locations in Toledo area
I'm planning my wedding in the Toledo area for August... we would love it to be outdoors, and are having a difficult time finding a venue. Does anyone know of a good place?

Might want to check out the Toledo Botanical Gardens. I had friends that were going to get married there, but rain forced them to move to an indoor venue.

Oak Openings or pretty much any of the Metro Parks would be a possibility.

Providence Metropark by Grand Rapids has a really nice spot on the river next to a giant dam. Very scenic.

I was at a wedding at the botanical gardens once as a child, all I remember was that there were bees all over. I'm not sure how amplified my child mind made this, but it's my main memory associated with the wedding.
I've been to a wedding at side cut park, it was very nice. There is a scenic overlook and a peninsula in the lake to choose from. There are also some cute rustic stone bridges for wedding pictures. The best thing about a metropark wedding is the price, it's like 50 bucks to reserve it.

There is an old seminary in Grand Rapids. Ohio which name escapes me at the moment but the chamber of commerce there would know. It is a beautiful setting and can accommodate an outdoor or indoor wedding in the chapel as well as the reception. It's definitely worth checking out

YES! That's it!
Don't let the sterile look to the front photo fool you - it really is beautiful inside and in the back where they hold the weddings,
