Really hope everyone is OK.

I was in Mercer in 1985 (passing through), and remember how scary it can be. Next week, the pattern looks much quiter, sunny and mild weather should be the rule.

There’s going to be so many videos out.

Here’s one from Henryville as the guys ride it out. This was a town that was hit hard, these guys got lucky probably on the lightest edge.

SPC was busy. Storm Reports just for March 2nd. Keep in mind...Cells phones, emails & population has increased the reports past few years. Its just easier to report nowadays.

Good to hear. It would have been devestating if one of the cities were hit (not to diminish the destruction and loss of life in the smaller towns).

More recently, downtown Minneapolis was struck by an EF1 tornado, causing 2 deaths and 30 injuries.

I think downtown Atlanta was hit by a tornado a few years ago.
