Why?

They are really only interesting related to their respective city, in their respective city forum.

The April 2011 tornadoes in Alabama made international news. Forum probably would have been better back then...

Well, that's not at all true. I'm interested in tornadoes wherever they occur. I'd bet most people who are interested in weather are.

Are you going to tell this tornado it can't have its own forum?

I'm sure there are lots of interesting stories to be told from survivors of tornadoes. I was raised (on a rural hilltop) in Kansas and can remember many tornadoes, although our home was never hit by one.

My mother used to tell about how one took the home above her when she was in the basement. She didn't like 'em at all!

My sister and her husband are Iowa farmers. Their place has been hit by FIVE tornadoes since they moved there, destroying or damaging every building on the property except their first house, which they replaced with a new one. It lost its roof the next year! They only have one of the original trees; all the others having been knocked down by tornadoes; my wife and I were married under it 10 years ago next month.

Lots of stories out there....

Glad to see a forum for tornadic activity. Spectacular when they're viewed safely. This one was three miles from where I work, 7 Nov 2011.

RadioSilence, where is that pic from? Looks like AL...
