Toronto's prospects for the Entertainment Industry. (job market, movies, activity)

I understand many movies nowadays are filmed in Toronto, and Toronto has had an increasing importance in the Indie Film Movement.

What are the prospects for business at the entry level as compared to Vancouver, or American cities like New York and L.A.?

Is there more opportunity in Toronto for lightweights than veteran Entertainment locations like like Broadway or Hollywood?

In Canada, Toronto has the most activity as far as film/TV work; third highest in North America next to LA and NYC.
