In terms of the humidity level, is it generally dry?

Dry in the winter and OK in the summer.
Don't believe anyone talking about the "humidity" in the summer. There is little compared with the rest of the world.

I agree.

In terms of humidity, it's all right. In terms of rainy/wet days, it seems reasonable as well for a place that's in between a very dry climate like that of the prairies and humid/wet one like the maritimes.

You might get a week or so in mid summer that could produce some high humidity levels but its not the norm

You thinking of coming to Toronto based on its humidity?

You must haven't been to Houston, or New Orleans, or Shanghai, or Hong Kong in the summer.
The humidity in Toronto during summer is negligible.

The saying, "It's not the heat, it's the humidity" originated in southern Ontario, lol! Local thunderstorms due to nothing more than the humidity building in the air are very common in June, July and lessening a little in August.

I find the "it is not the heat, it's the humidity" thing extremely funny as well. didn't know it originally in Southern Ontario.

Compared to Windsor, about 300km south of Toronto the humidity is nothing... Still present but you won't need to worry about having multiple dehumidifers in your home for the air conditioning to work properly like in Windsor.
