Toronto’s largest seasonal tree lighting event!

Hi folks, I would like to invite you all to the DeClute Light Up The Beach! 20 Large trees along the Boardwalk will be lit by Santa with 80,000 lights, making this Toronto’s largest seasonal tree lighting event. Enjoy FREE Hot Chocolate, songs, and carols by Malvern, Neil McNeil and Avalon Montessori at 7 pm on Saturday December 8th 2012, as Santa counts down the tree lighting. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank.


It all begins at the foot of Leuty Ave. and continues to the foot of Beech Ave.

- Saturday December 8th, 2012

- 7:00 pm start

- 5th annual event

- Free Event

- 20 large trees lining the boardwalk to be lit in sequence by Santa and attending children and families

- Santa leads a lighting countdown at each set of trees

- 20,000 linear ft. of Christmas lights

- 80,000 Christmas lights

- Free hot chocolate

- Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food or cash donation to the foot of Leuty for collections by Second Harvest – or similar food rescue and hunger relief organization

- Music will be provided by a high school choir and band that will entertain attendees with singing and playing of Christmas carols and selections of the Season
