Great pics! You should have brought the pics from the last page over here. They were awesome.

I hope we can all find more pics of Toronto at the street level, like architecture, street life, etc., instead of the generic skyline pics. Toronto looks great from a skyline perspective, but street level aesthetics may need work...

Hmmm, I thought a lot of my pics did a good job of representing street life in Old Toronto. I tried my best to create a good balance between not just growing skylines in the GTA, but also street life and good representation of both pre WWII commercial and residential architecture. Perhaps you should leaf through my pages of posts as you will see these well represented in them. Surely I can't be accused of not trying to strike a balance lol..

I know Toronto also has some pretty awesome architecture, many of them not so apparent to your casual visitor. Hope we can find more of those, and I'll also look for some.

For example, the streetscape around Yonge and St. Claire is pretty nice, with a mix of old and new, and the buildings all at a nice mid-rise level along with the newly built St. Claire Streetcar right of way. I drove by the other day and feels great simply driving/walking around that area. Another is Avenue Road.

Even along Spadina there are some pretty interesting new architecture builds, and conversions of old industrial buildings into new mixed use spaces.
